The aircraft is painted in a Snow-white overall fuselage color with up to two stripes
chosen within the designs offered by EMBRAER. Leading edges of engine inlets
are polished bare metal.
Embraer applies only solid coatings on the aircraft lower lobe fuselage (bilge area)
due to the following reasons:
Effect coatings (acrylic-polyurethane base) can be damaged by Skydrol or Fluids
spills;
Solid colors are more resistant and best suited for the aircraft lower lobe fuselage
(bilge area);
In case Buyer opts to have effect or matte coatings applied on the aircraft lower
lobe fuselage (bilge area), then the Aircraft paint warranty on such area shall not
be applied.
Antennas areas shall not be painted due to the fact that coatings may cause
electrical interferences
