Next Generation G3000 PRIME Hardware & Software Aircraft serial numbers 1048 and above came factory equipped with an upgraded avionics package providing 17 upgraded LRU’s, faster processors, enhanced screen resolution, and a platform for future upgrades. This upgrade is available on earlier airframes, but at considerable expense. Garmin GWX 8000 “StormOptix” Radar System This aircraft has received the hardware and software upgrades for Garmin’s most advanced radar system. The upgrade was installed in 2025. The GWX8000 “StormOptix” radar system provides ground clutter suppression, turbulence detection, predictive hail and lightning alerts, and automated volumetric scanning to show radar returns without the need to adjust gain and tilt settings. This may be the only pre-owned M2 on the market equipped with this advanced radar system. CPDLC – Controller Pilot Datalink This aircraft is equipped with an optional Datalink communication system to provide automated ATC instructions without the need for certain voice communications. Frequency changes are automatically uploaded from ATC to the Garmin touch controls, and in in air reroutes are automatically uploaded by ATC to the standby flight plan, for immediate review and implementation by the flight crew. CPDLC Datacomm is now available throughout all of the USA. TAWS “A” Terrain Awareness and Warning System Class A TAWS offers pilots an increased level of situational awareness by providing alerts such as excessive closure rate, large glide slope deviations, and the potential for terrain impact when the aircraft is not in landing configuration. The system also provides optional height above runway audible callouts on landing. Class B was standard from Textron. Class A was optional. Reactive Windshear Warning System for TAWS An optional reactive windshear caution/warning system is installed in N855J, providing aural and visual alerts in the event the system detects dangerous levels of windshear while operating in close proximity to the ground. Dual DME Units – Backup Navigation Optional dual DME units provide automated backup DME/DME triangulated navigation in the event of a GPS outage or loss of GPS signal. This system allows continued navigation along the flight planned route without needing to revert to standard VOR navigation. Gogo L3 Avance Wireless Internet A fully functional GoGo WiFi system is installed, providing integrated WiFi capability for multiple portable and computer devices. The GoGo Avance system was upgraded to the latest hardware version in 2024. Condition N855J has been hangar kept since new, has never been used for commercial purposes, is detailed on a regular basis, and has never had fluid added to the toilet system. The plane shows in excellent condition |
