1996 Advanced Aeromarine Carrera 140

Overview
Very nice classic Part 103 ultralight airframe for a moderately work-intensive project or for parts, best offer will be taken.

Includes all aluminum tubing, wing spars, swaged and shrink-wrapped cables and hardware of the fuselage, wings and fiberglass cockpit shell. The first photo makes it look like a cockpit tube is missing, it is not.
All aluminum is in great shape, except one trailing edge, one end of one aileron and the landing gear-truss plates (see pictures). These can be replaced fairly easily. The originals are included to be used as templates.
The surface coverings were old and so were removed.

Also includes the 2 ribs and tubes for the windshield and cockpit cover.

Feel free to write or call with any questions.

Inspection Status:
NA- Part 103 ultralight
Damage: Yes
Damage Notes:
Trailing edge tube of left wing is dented in 2 places and need to be replaced.
4" of the end of the landing gear-fuselage connecting plates on the left side are bent to aft about 10 degrees. The plane took a hard landing on the left gear, and the back of the left wing hit some object, causing denting. The end of the aileron tube is scraped (minor damage, the tube could be used). The damage is limited to these 3 areas. All other left wing members are undamaged. All other fuselage and aileron members are undamaged.
The plane was mothballed after this and not rebuilt because of financial problems.
